Tyazo

The Tyazo parish and school centre is located 22 km south of Karengera. It celebrated recently its 50th anniversary. The parish of Tyazo with its seven chapels has 2230 members.

In the technical and vocational educational training centre 136 boys and 87 girls become welders, carpenters, masons, tailors and a few are trained in hotel management. The general subjects correspond to those of the secondary school.

The secondary school "ES Tyazo" is attended by 430 young people and, like the vocational school, it is run as a boarding school.
